I found this resource via a blog when looking around for some new training resources. I like investing in myself to help manage and run my business, and also to give me some ideas that I can implement for my clients.

SparkplugU is a great site and offers some great courses, there were two things I liked about this. The courses were affordable and on a range of different blog topics. From a business development point of view, I liked the format and layout and how the courses are put together. I might use something similar for some of my own courses later in the year.

I have booked to go on the Blog Networks course on the 12th September. I realise that some of you think blog networks are dead or dying but I think there is still room for some niche blog networks that do not rely on CPM ad rates to survive. I like Yaro’s take on this and I hope that the SparkPlugU guys will do the same. This is the way I hope to grow a small group of niche blogs.

I am hoping to learn how to put the networks together and on how to get other bloggers involved to spread the workload.

Other courses that I might sign up too as they look appealing:

Diversify your Income Workshop - I am a great believer in spreading the risk and this course looks like it will give you a range of options from running affiliate relationship to building yuor own products to building duplicable systems. And for $40 you can’t really argue!

Podcasting Bootcamp - I recorded my own Link Building Product a while back and also bought a new USB Microphone that looks like one of those big radio mics! Anyway, I am thinking about adding podcasting to my business.

The other thing I liked about SparkplugU was the free Business Idea Guide that you can get free when you visit the site.
