Jayblogger is me, Jason Hulott. I work and have worked online for 12 years now. Starting back in 1996 providing ideas to a large bank about what we could use this contraption called the Internet. From their I moved to a UK Personal Finance Aggregator, the first of its kind in the UK, where I held down several jobs as Content Manager, Web Bod and Partner Relationship Manager. Leaving that company in 2003, I struck out on my own and setup Speedie Consultants Limited with my wife Stella which provides Internet consultancy and content management services to mainlyUK Finance and Insurance companies.

During this time, I also co ran a Internet Marketing Company J2Squared and this company had clients such as Carland, MoneySupermarket, MoneyExtra, Loans.co.uk to name drop a few.

We ran lead generation programmes for these companies, setup and ran their affiliate programmes, managed PPC campaigns as well as running some of our own litle sites to try and earn a crust. We did very well for a two man band. We played around with MFA sites (Well made for MIVA and Overture), we had some nice income with Inter-PPC engine Arbitrage in 2004 and also on brand bidding in 2005 before Companies really caught on to what was happening.

We closed down that company in 2006, Speedie Consultants now focuses exclusively on the Finance and Insurance Industries. Our clients sit at the top of the pile on Google as we help manage their onsite content and also provode them with inblound link strategies.

I sometimes consult when the mood takes me , or more importanlty whenI want to buy something. I think I have read or owned almost every ebook, course, manual there is on making money online including:

  • John Reese’s Traffic Secrets (Yes I bought a copy!)
  • Marketing Secrets (I have just upgraded to the latest version!)
  • Boost Your Business With An Ezine
  • Under Oath
  • The Ultimate Internet Entrepreneur
  • Insider Secrets of an Ebay Millionaire
  • How to Profit with a Direct Sales Website

I have countless pieces of software and used all the “Black Hat” software and used some of it is quite different ways to help me and my clients. You could say I turned it to the light side.

This blog is to finally get some of this stuff out of my head to create enough room to learn new stuff.
